Need Some Additional Track Time at VIR? Read on…

RALEIGH, NC — (NCRSCCA) — The Tar Heel Sports Car Club (THSCC) has announced that they are adding a “test and tune” group to their April 7-8 HPDE/TT at VIR (see below). This is a big plus for our folks as it means that SCCA racers with competition licenses and logbooks who are looking for some track time to tweak their cars or their driving skills, can now participate. They also note that their student run groups are only about half full right now, so there is still lots of room for those who want to do the school. (Thanks to Mark Senior for this “heads up”!)

Just a quick announcement that we have added a Test and Tune to our April 7-8, 2012 “Great Piece of Asphalt HPDE/TT” schedule. The Test and Tune will be limited to drivers with competition licenses and cars with current log books. This group will get 4 – 30 minute sessions on track each day. Licenses and log book will be required at event check in. Registration is here. Please pass this information on to any race drivers/teams you know who might be interested.

We also still have plenty of room for students at this event. We are currently about half full, so if you plan to attend, please sign up soon so we can be properly staffed with instructors to run this event. Registration is here.

Also, don’t forget registration is also open for our June “Southern Fried Track Event – HPDE/TT” down at CMP. Register early if possible. Credit cards will not be charged for this event until 5/26/12. Register here.

Last but not least, don’t forget we have our final tech day for this spring coming up at Long Road Racing on March 17. There are still a few slots available. Remember, all cars driving in our HPDE program have to be inspected to participate. Registration is here.
