Do We Have any Super Salespeople in Our Region?

NC Region Members:

The North Carolina Region is embarking on a new program to advance our marketing efforts by selling advertising through our various digital, e-mail, and social media platforms.

We are in need of qualified advertising salespeople to assist us with these efforts. If necessary, we are willing to compensate productive individuals in this endeavor, either monetarily or through trade against entry fees, memberships, etc.

If you feel you have something to offer the Region and might be interested, please call or send an e-mail at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

New Officers elected for NCR after running unopposed

Nominations for RE, Secretary and the two Member-at-Large positions (currently Held by Heather Powers and Blair Stitt) for terms beginning in 2016 were due by the end of the November Board meeting, Wednesday, November 18th. None of the Current office holders, Rex Deffenbaugh, Steve Rose, Heather and Blair, opted to run again. There was only one nomination received for each open office, Sam Fouse for RE, James Shanks for Secretary, Heather Clark and Morgan Mehler for Member-at-Large, so the Board accepted those nominations by acclamation, since there was no need to mail ballots and tabulate results. This will save the Region at least $375 in postage. The new officers will be installed at the annual meeting and awards dinner in Wilmington, at the Coastal Convention Center, Saturday, January 9, 2016.

NC Region recruits new members at the IMSA Tudor event at VIR

Last weekend, August 21 – 23, the Marketing Committee for the Region tried a new tactic. Instead of trying to recruit new members at Car Shows and Cars-and-Coffee events, were the attendees have a wide variety of automotive interests, they decided to try reaching out to fans at the IMSA Tudor event at VIR. The thinking was, “Hey, these folks are ‘pre-qualified’. They paid money to see a sports car race. Maybe they’d like a chance to get even more involved.” So arrangements were made.
