WAIVERS

Adults (18+ in NC/VA): Every participant must sign waivers (on paper or digitally) to participate in any SCCA event.

  • Complete the Annual Waiver process digitally through my.scca.com. Once you have a current annual waiver, you should not need to sign an SCCA waiver or do a speed waiver for NCR events. You may still need to sign a site/track waiver that is independent of SCCA.

HOW TO DIGITALLY COMPLETE THE ADULT ANNUAL WAIVER PROCESS:

1. Log in with your SCCA Member # at my.scca.com

2. Go to Online Store - Licenses & Waivers

3. Add “Annual Waiver Adult” license to cart

4. Be prepared to upload a photo of yourself (the waiver will be rejected if the photo is not of you with your face clearly visible)

5. Follow the prompts at the top right of the screen

6. Complete checkout

  • Complete a Speed Waiver through your Motorsportreg.com (MSR) registration. For most NCR events, you will be texted a link when you register. Follow the instructions for completing the waiver. You will need to take a picture, and your face must be visible. Please keep in mind that the picture that you take here is viewable to the registrars and event staff in MSR. Once you complete the Speed Waiver for an event, you should not need to sign an SCCA waiver for that event.
  • Sign the paper waiver at the track. You can do one of the options above and speed up the registration process.

Minors (under 18 in NC/VA): Minors volunteering in hot areas or competing at SCCA events must have a completed minor waiver form on file with SCCA. This means that this process cannot be completed at an event. It must be completed prior to the event and active in the my.scca.com portal.

Minors spectating or helping in non-hot areas such as registration or Timing and Scoring do not need a minor waiver on file.

Please read the instructions on how to complete this process. Both parents will need to be able to log into their accounts on my.scca.com. Both parents do not need to be a member, but they both will need to set up an account to access the forms for the Minor Waiver process.
