Wow – that was a quick year, and I don’t mean my driving, either.  Near year’s end, it appears we have survived another season of racing in an unhealthy economy.  This serves to prove how important racing is to us.  Financially, we came up a little short of breaking even, but hope to learn and adjust to keep that from happening again.

Cape Fear Autocross ChampionshipThe Cape Fear Autocross Championship Series was started by the Cape Fear Chapter in  2005. The series included 7 events and over 60 competitors. At the end of the season, 16 drivers were named class champions.

Incentive Programs

Getting involved as a volunteer or official is as easy as going to a local event and volunteering to help. Volunteers are issued a license just like the competition drivers, and can work their way up through the four levels of licenses by participating at different events and gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to hold a national specialty license.

EVENTS 

The Cape Fear Autocross Championship (CFAC) is a series of autocross events held throughout the year and is sanctioned by the North Carolina Region, SCCA. In the event that a points event is cancelled, the region will adjust the minimum number of required events according to the event schedule listed below.
